Used to differentiate private houses from those that were—quite literally—houses open to the public as Taverns or Alehouses, the first use of the term “Public House” was over 500 years ago.
The Irish Public House (or “pub”) is the epitome of Irish culture and is meant to be a place to relax, meet with friends and family, or gather with other like-minded new acquaintances in happiness and hardship. McGregor’s Public House provides just that: a home for great food and drink, comfort, and more than just a wee bit o’ Irish hospitality.
An Irish-influenced gastropub styled restaurant, McGregor’s Public House offers a unique and innovative dining, drinking, and socializing experience. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll be immersed in its traditions. You’ll experience its charm, its hospitality, and its authentic atmosphere complete with its own brand of entertainment.
Along with the perfect pint of “the black stuff,” you can expect a full bar, stocked with an array of imported & local brews on tap, classic handcrafted cocktails, and a menu that melds traditional pub classics with modern artisanal flair, changing seasonally.

Between the two of us we have a combined 30+ years of experience within the bar and restaurant industry and we are absolutely thrilled to be bringing this concept to our local community!
Being part of the hospitality industry for so long, we've cultivated so many incredible relationships with customers, vendors, & musicians. These relationships are important to us as we embark on this next great adventure. Owning our own pub has been a lifelong dream. One that we've talked out and envisioned in so many different ways over the years. We've been lucky enough to have gone to Ireland several times, allowing us the opportunity to visit many authentic pubs and get a feel for what we want to bring to the table in our own Public House.
We are creating McGregor's Public House as an extension of our family and home and we cannot wait to welcome you into our lives!

Awards From The Community
Awards we have won from our local community here in Fort Myers, Florida. We have won in several categories for The Best of the GulfShore Life contest a few years in a row now, including best key like pie, best Bloody Mary and Best Salad 3 years in a row. We also won best beer list and best live music venue.
We won Startup of the year for 2025 from the Industry Appreciation Awards which was awarded to us based on our exponential growth and service to our local community. We strive to help those around us by giving back to our community in ways that really matter.
